Frequently asked questions
Who receives the payments?
You do. Each caterer or school has its own Stripe account and parents' payments go there. Transopt doesn't hold the money.
Do parents need to install anything?
No. schood opens in the browser. Anyone who wants to can also install it on their phone like an app.
What about allergies?
Parents record each child's allergies and the menu shows each product's allergens. The kitchen sees them in the reports and on the tickets. It doesn't replace the kitchen's own checks.
Can we import our existing menu?
Yes, the catalog can be imported from and exported to an Excel file. In the demo we show you the format it needs.
Does it work with our printer?
Tickets can be printed on an ESC/POS thermal printer on the school's network. Greek text has been confirmed on one specific model. Tell us which printer you have and we'll check it.
Is it available in Greek and English?
Yes. The app is Greek first and also available in English.
How do we get started?
Request a demo. Setting up a new school is done with us rather than self-serve: we set up the school, the join code for parents and the Stripe connection.
